my personal dislikes?
* i can't get used to the right shift key. which is now an "up arrow" instead and the shift key is further to the right of it...
* it IS a 10inch screen thus do understand everything's gonna be harder - for example when i open the msn messenger, i can't see the 'ok' buttons. thus pressing 'enter' on the keyboard will have to do.
* seriously..nothing else, besides the fact that i got a black which made it feel like a normal notebook. but really.. white would have made it so fragile & hard to maintain!!
my loves?
* love the rest of the keypad. its alright. i don't like compaq's which was wide and didn't give the 'bounce' i'm used to from a normal keyboard.
* love the speakers on this little baby. loud, crisp.
* love the price. love it for work, internet, chatting & blogging oh yes, and watching videos.
why lenovo idealpad s10 over..?
* IBM is dominant in the market for their bladeservers. lenovo took over their range of notebooks, that means.. based on the good x-range (e.g. the X61), there should be some goodness.
* dont prefer hp compaq 2133 due to my negative history with the compaq brand. don't even start on the new logo they have...seriously have you seen it..
* liked the Dell mini note 9 (i'm a fan of Dell) but it i fell for lenovo when i saw it.
* Eee PC has a funny screen, hmm..am not familiar with the brand, ASUS. heard of its wow factors though.
*Acer Aspire One.. don't know...don't know..
* Sony Vaio Pocket - an expensive 8inch. enough said.
Go check it out!! Courts Mega store is having a Sale!!
Final Tips:
1, disable your webcam.
instead of relying on software 'disabling' of the integrated webcam, go to My Computer > right-click and select Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager > right click and disable the Webcam when not in use.
2. paste a little 'boo boo' sticker over the webcam just in case it ever gets hack.
3. disable your integrated microphone the same way.
hey, you can never be too overly, you know, careful right?
there is such a thing as remote hacking into your webcam and getting spied you know!
